In the holistic medicine, scars and fractures, chronic foci of inflammation due to root-treated teeth or chronic inflammatory areas in the jawbone are referred to as interference fields. Biological dentistry aims to efficiently and gently repair these interference fields, until no interference fields in the oral cavity exist anymore. With right diagnostics as well as through special surgical techniques, the structural changes can be completely eliminated.
Various interference fields in the oral cavity
Among the frequent interference fields there are root-treated teeth. They often are chronic foci of inflammation, which can lead to problems directly in the mouth, but also in other parts of the body.
A number of chronic diseases, as for example diabetes, allergies, inflammatory intestinal diseases, Crohn’s disease, rheumatologic diseases and autoimmune diseases, hashimoto, multiple sclerosis, ALS but also psychological problems can massively be intensified through harmful interference fields in the mouth – due to their negative immunomodulation to the whole organism.
Chronic inflammations in the jawbone are often the result of not well-healed extraction wounds. The bone is exposed to a fatty-degenerative change and poisonous substances and harmful inflammatory substances are formed (cytokines). These can be the cause of chronic fatigue, skin and intestinal problems or joint pains.
Many foci of inflammation can partially be detected through a classic panoramic X-ray image (OPG). A clear diagnosis of complex foci or bony changes can be achieved through a three-dimensional X-ray (digital volume tomography, DVT). With a DVT the extent of the focus of inflammation or bone necrosis can be determined exactly. The DVT 3D-diagnostics makes it possible to accurately measure the anatomical structures and the available bones, in order to be able to perform a surgical interference field restoration or implantation under the best possible conditions.

The focus of inflammation is removed through a surgical intervention as completely as possible. Inflammatory altered areas are removed as well. Finally, the region is disinfected with ozone. In the process only bacteria, viruses and fungi are killed, the body’s own cells are not attacked. In order to burden the organism as little as possible, all interventions are performed as minimally invasive as possible. Often after the intervention, special medications of the biological medicine are administered, which have an anti-inflammatory effect and serve as protection against infection. In many cases antibiotics can be done without.
